Like most of you, i have been reading reviews and seeing a lot of the abuse that was thrown at the passaround Viktim. needless to say, i had high hopes for this knife. and i can't tell you how much i was anticipating its arrival.
and, let me tell ya....my expectations have been exceded. it is not often i get to say that. but man...i was blown away. i was so impressed with this knife right out of the box. super sharp. fit and finish are superb. and wow...i love the handle. not just the mesquite wood. i mean the shape. it is a wider handle. not thicker, but wider. in short...i love it.
and don't get me started on the blade shape. it has a pronounced hump as the lines approach the tip. not exactly like the nessmuk. there is more width near the guard. and not a full "sway back" type design. i can't accurately describe it with my minimal knowledge of knife lingo. but...well...i love it.
so, for those keeping score at home....
Handle: I love it.
Blade: I love it.
Knife: I love it.

thank you john.
i'll try to stop gushing long enough to show you some pics. i had to get it some immediate attention.
some very old, hard poplar.
and yes...with food.
ladies and gentleman....the JK Knives Viktim #7. this one's a keeper.
for all those that did reviews...you guys were the ones who convinced me to order this knife. thank you. this knife is truly awesome. couldn't be happier.
