Hello gents,
I´m a recurrent character in bladeforums, but, I have never had in my hands and "original"-non factory produced one... Well, yesterday I got my first Himalayan Imports m43!!...It will take a while before the knife reaches my hands, because I am in South America at the moment, but I know my new m43 will feel at home in the tropic as well.
Some mandatory questions for the more seasoned members to answer.
After I purchased, I went into the HI website and read some history about the knives, and hey!...I love more than one (that should be a recurren illness for most of the people around here), I found a couple of them to be of my interest, but the different blade angles and handle angles only made my doubt of my knowledge about knives.
¿Can anyone segregate the groups/models according to their intended purpose?.
I purchased the m43 as a Camping tool, but after that, I found about the salyan that looked more like a chopper to me.
thanks
