Hey Allen, I know i told you that for a long time i would introduce myself here. Sorry it took me so long to do so. After talking with you wed nite , i just decided to go ahead and do it. My name is Scott Davidson, i have been making knives for about 18 years now. I enjoy it as a hobby. I like to share what little bit i know about the process to newcomers. I have had several guys to come thru my shop to learn how to make knives, and now they are on their on and doing a great job at it. I was glad to be able to help point you in the right direction. I didnt do much , you picked it up fast. I am proud to see that you have your own forum here, as well as does Jarrett. This very reason was why the Georgia Knifemakers Guild was started, to help teach and carry on the " craft". I think its a great organization to be associated with. I also joined the Knifemakers Guild in 2010, to carry my learning to another level, and meet some new friends. You may also see me at the Blade Show selling some knives. Thanks for the space to introduce myself. I hope to meet some of the great folks around here at some of the shows and put a face on these names. I have been lurking around here for a couple years, just dont post much. Thanks, Scott

Scott,
Welcome. I've been able to get to know the guys at Fiddleback Forge a little bit. Allen and I talked for a good while a few months back, he has nothing but great things to say. I am glad you decided to post an introduction. It is always good to see other makers and their craftsmanship.

Preston

Thank you Preston, yes sir the folks over at Andy are a great bunch of folks. Stop by and say hello when you see some of my knives posted up.Scott

Great to have you here Scott. I can't express how much I appreciate the foundation that you gave me and the continued support and assistance.

For those of you who have not had a chance to see Scott's work, they are truly a great knife with exceptional qualities. Don't hesitate to grab one if you have the chance!

Welcome again Scott. Allen has nothing but great things to say about you (both stated above and elsewhere), so you must be alright. Now let's see some knives..

Thanks Allen, Bill. I will be posting up some soon in the regular forum. Just trying to get orders out for Christmas. Thanks for the kind words guys.
