Hello Gentleman (and ladies if they are present),

I've been lurking on here for a quite a while, definitely over a year. I could never afford a Fiddleback due to lack of funds since I was in college. I'm 23 and work at a beer distributor in sales. Which I know some of you enjoy to drink a few so if you want to have a long discussion on Domestics or Crafts, I'm into that. I live in Missouri and go out hiking and camping fairly often. I worked in Alaska at a fishing lodge for a summer and boys let me tell you, that was remarkable. I've spent a lot of time rambling around the country through college and witnessed some pretty awesome stuff. Well that's a little about me and I figured I would put in a little bit of effort so I'm not just some stranger roaming around the forums. Have a good weekend and enjoy the nice weather (if you have it)!

Joe

welcome

i think you will find alot of good people around here & some fantastic knives

Welcome, Joe. I'm working toward my first FB. I'm N of KC a bit. Maybe sometime we can do coffee or something. I think it's a blast to connect with folks IRL. This is a really neat place. I know you'll be glad you stumbled in.

Welcome viral, and as soon as you have the money, it will soon be gone. But Fiddlebacks will start to fill your drawers. Then your underwear will be stacked on top of your dresser because there is no room in the drawers. When this happens, don't worry, it is normal.

And in the final phase you will trade your underwear & socks for more Fiddlebacks !

Welcome to the forum!!! You have started an addiction that you will not be able to kick. I hope you enjoy the new Sneaky headed your way.

Hey Joe, welcome to the Fiddleback Family/Madness. Hopefully we can tip one back at some point.

Thank you guys for the welcomes! This addiction thing doesn't even scare me when I know it should.

Yea man that would be cool. Some day we will have to do this. How far north of KC are you? I'm about 50 miles East of KC

Welcome Joe
Hang on and enjoy the ride it will be a lot of fun. See you in the Shark Tank.
Mick.

Hi Joe,

Sounds like you really took advantage of your college/younger years. I wish I could pack up and spend some time in Alaska and traveling all over the States.

I'm about 50 N-NW. So somewhere in KC would be halfway for both. Shoot me an email sometime: larz <dot> jemand <AT> gmail <dot> com.

Welcome Viral! You've landed in a great spot: good people, lots of knowledge being shared, great knives and it all keeps getting better. Have fun.

BTW, your avatar is one of the scariest avatars I've seen. That camera man has an iron pair for sure.

That picture is awesome. I couldn't even imagine. Brown bears are scary and unpredictable. I like them when they are about 100 yards away. And since we are talking about avatars, either you look a lot like Cheech or that is a picture of Cheech. Either way I dig it.

Welcome Viral, let's hear your favorite brew?

Favorite domestic would be Busch Light. That one I think is in my blood, my mom forced that one on me.
Favorite craft would be Deschutes Chain Breaker, atleast I think. I buy a lot of crafts and just try them out.

What about you sir?

Hahahahaha. That's Cheech.

Welcome aboard. I'm definitely jealous of the Alaska part. I've always wanted to go to Alaska.

It's like nothing you could imagine. When someone talks about the Mosquitos thick as mud and the knowledge if you get hurt you are probably going to die, it's true. It's a weird feeling being an hour plane ride from town. The town having a crumby gas station, an air port, and a bar/motel. It's everything you ever wanted, and more.
