Hello everyone... I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking here for a couple months, getting the lay of the land and seeing how everything works. Over that time I have become obsessed with Mr. Roy's work - each new batch seems to somehow be more beautiful. I'm not sure if I'm ready to swim with the sharks, but I spotted one today that I just can't pass on trying to snag - I just might give it a go.

Nice to meet you. Looks like my eye isn't too good yet - got the model and handle material totally wrong. More studying for me this week...I hope you grabbed something great!

Welcome. We have considered making knife profile flash cards like they used to do with plane profiles in WWII. When you are in the throws of the shark tank, there is not a lot of time to figure out which knife is which.
 
Nice to meet you guys. Flash cards are a great idea. I've been testing my identification skills when the Fotki pics are posted, but the variety of what is produced from week to week makes it challenging for sure. When those new designs came out last week my brain about exploded....

The Flea Market is a wonderful spot to keep an eye on. It has been a great tool for getting to know some of the different models and configurations. Something new and interesting always pops up!
