Hello everyone. Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I'm a recently retired Army Infantryman, full time college student (I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up), part time baker (I bake quick desert breads with a weird spin on them), part time handyman (currently renovating a house built in 1942) and have been itching to get into knife making for the last couple of months. Over the next month I'll be building my own mini forge for heat treating blades and I'll start with the removal/grinding process of making knives. Hope to learn a lot from you all and hopefully be a productive & helpful member of this forum.
