Love that little WWII, but wish I was skilled enough to do the handle job!! Serious score for whoever gets that. And all the DCs are great too. I'm very lucky that's the one I have, cuz I can't afford anything else right now

Email sent on DC #3
18 inch 25 ounce
Sisau wood handle
$100
Could not resist these.

This is like a Thamar mind blow. 6 all in one picture. Top of my head POOF!!! This might explain a lot!

Thanks for stopping in Pugs, been meaning to write and say howdy Amigo but you know me and procrastination.
I still love you brother. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Email sent for Thamar Dui Chirra #4.

I held out as long as I could (about 15 minutes).

The deciding factor for me is the detail on the cho, the piece that hangs down like that thing in the back of our throats -- the uvula, it's called. There's another interpretation that I won't mention in a family-oriented forum. :) I have a vintage blade with that kind of cho, but it's the only one I've ever seen, even in pictures. What it signifies is an extra attention to detail, which is the sign of a great craftsman.

I got the Done Deal on#4. It was a tossup for me between #2 and #4, but #2 was already taken.

It's interesting that after collecting these blades for a while, you begin to notice the most subtle differences in blade and handle shape for two knives that might look identical to a newcomer. Of course you can be fooled by the angle of the photo or even the lighting, which can slightly change the look of a blade.

I'll take #1. PayPal on way!

Hi, Dubop:

Excuse me if you already know this, but it's necessary to send an email to Yangdu, saying you'll take it. Then she replies with "Done Deal" or "Long Gone", and she'll tell you the shipping cost if you got the "Done Deal." Unless you got the DD, it's premature to send Paypal payment.

Whoever sends the first email gets the blade. Posting here is more of a courtesy so others know that the knife is spoken for and Yangdu doesn't get many requests for the same knife. Some people send Yangdu an email without posting here, either because they don't know or sometimes they're busy at work, so you can only know if you got the knife when you get Yangdu's reply email.

Thanks David, I've bought here a few times but every site has different methods. I sent an Email but now maybe to late!

My DC #5 arrived at last. Lovely wood on the handle. And I must say I prefer the white metal over brass.
