Time for an update in heat-treated blades.



K5 Kardas in O1 = scandi ground

WSKs in 5160

Got these blades in from Paul Bos Heat-Treat. :thumbup:


K5 Kardas in 1/4" (oversize...more like 0.284") CPM 3V

Pikal Parers in CPM S30V

Nessmuks in 1/4" (again, oversize) CPM 3V

Santokus in CPM154 stainless

Maters in 13C26 stainless

Some of these are orders....most are going to Blade!!!

I hve been slobbering over the Nessie pics for a while but I had not noticed the Mini-Pikal Parer before today. I bet that's a handy one to have on your person at all times.

What are the specs on the Kardas?

The K4 Kardas? They are 5/32" thick O1 hardened to 59-60 HRc, with a scandi grind - much like the bushcraft...just a bit taller.

Do all the Nessmuks have homes ???
