invicta

I've had a couple for a while and was not impressed. I know i sound like a broken record but look at the seiko auto dive watches really a great product for the money. The 7S26 movt has been around a long time and the case and crystal is pretty tough. You can also move up to the orange/black monster but it'll make one arm bigger than the other. If you want to drop bigger bucks look at the marathon military watches i believe they come in both quartz and auto, tiptoe over to Broadarrow.net and learn all you want about them.
as you can tell i like watches.
the sad thing is a casio Gshock is cheaper and more durable and accurate than anything i've mentioned.

I've been wearing Invictas for 2 or 3 years at this point. Great automatic watches for the money. With the exception of some slight scratches on the clasp, mine look like the day I bought them. They wear really well.

If you hang around the watch forums, especially the Dive Watch sub-forums, you will probably hear something like "Invictas are more 'show' than 'go' and 'Best bang for the buck by far are Seiko and Citizen'.

I have an Invicta 9937 Diver. It is a very good watch IMHO. I also have a nice Seiko automatic and a sweet Steinhart automatic. All divers models and all automatics. My Invicta is a 40mm the others are 44 and 45mm, so the Invicta is the lightest. If you get one, get a model with a saphire crystal. I really feel that is worth the extra they cost. My Seiko has their mineral crystal and It is the only one to get scratched so far.
If you go over to the WWW.BDWF.NET, they have an Invicta section and you can learn a lot from the folks that love and hate them.
