I must have missed the news - but I found out earlier this week that the Inyoni has been discontinued. I guess that sales were less than trilling. It's too bad, I guess, but other knives we all appreciate have gone the same way (regular Sebenza, One Piece Range). The fact that a subject line-only search in this forum for "Inyoni" turns up exactly 15 threads probably says it all. :( In any case, if you want one, there aren't many left out there...

I have never heard anyone say a thing about it, honestly. I have thought about getting one but didn't see enough consumer confidence/excitement for me to want to sped the money.

I like the design, but the combo edge ruled it out for me.

I remember a post here awhile back that said they were working on a new version, so perhaps its discontinuation signifies that the next version is done.

I had one a while back and thought it was a cool knife but there were a couple of things I found that I didn't like about it. The useless serations were the thing that really ruined the knife for me. The handle scales were also something I grew to dislike quite quickly. IMO if the knife had a plain edge and had full handle scales along the lines of the Nyala it would have been a lot more popular and usefull than it was. The size and blade shape were good and it did have the potential to be a great little B&T knife, but I just found it lacking. I personally won't miss it but I'll look forward to anything that might replace it. :)

I feel about the same as Haze does about it. I may have picked one up if not for the serations.
