Buck no longer mfg. that product. Nor, do they lean toward another in the future. You may find one on the internet. The guys here rave about them. DM

I ran down the coating manufacturer Buck used a while back. You can do the same using key word search, and a few hours, in this forum. They were still in business in California. Track them down and you could contact them and see if any cutlery maker uses their services today.

You can find blades that are coated with similar materials (TiN, ZrN, TiAlN,TDLC,etc.), but Buck chisel ground the blade to expose the hard coating on the cutting edge. I have many Buckcote blades, and I am a raver.

I have a 450 Buckcoat with serrations I EDC and have found it hard to sharpen really sharp..I've had other models but have not used them myself but have given them as gifts. They sure look cool!
