I have used Imageshack and a PC for a while to embed thumbnails and pictures into my posts w/o issue. Now that I try and do it with an iPad, I find I cannot copy the link data from Imageshack. I can see it but when I touch it, it doesn't highlight nor do I get the "copy"option. What am I doing wrong?

You might try searching the app store for somting else related to file hosting/uploading. I too use an iPad wnd find that it has substantial limitations, that being one.

Good idea and I took a look but there wasn't much. Imageshack has an app, but it doesn't look very good and was rated badly.

Thing is, I think I did figure out a way to do it once before, but now I can't remember how. It was a work-around kind of solution, I do remember that much.

I read the reviews for the imageshack app too, it did not look promising, so I just skipped it. The only thing I can think of, until someone writes a better app for a hosting site that is would be:
Open a photobucket, Imgur, Imageshack account, load pictures to that, and save it as a bookmark in the Safari browser. Tis would require the use of an additional Mac or PC. When you need a pic, you could browse to your gallery and just copy/paste links with the
tags.

I'm going to research Tapatalk on the iPad, might be worth a shit.

Well it looks like it might be an Imageshack issue. If I go to Photobucket, select a picture, view it, and then simply copy and paste the "image code" text here it shows up OK. Doesn't help with all the pic's I have in I.S., but it's something. I guess I'll just start adding my pictures to PB from now on.

Hi Blue Sky, I think that is the best solution too. While Tapatalk is decent, it's a bit of a hassle in my opinion. Pthe picture looks good
