All, I am have the option to get one of these phone free but I am not at all knowledgeable with phones... so can you help me to decide?

The Samsung A53 hasn't been released yet. What insight do you suppose we can provide?

At this point we can discuss the platforms.
Apple is said to be more privacy oriented. But you are tied to their system.

Samsung uses Android, which is produced by Google.
Lots of very useful free apps from Google. More freedom to select software from a wider selection of vendors. But more privacy concerns.

Meh. I have a Samsung, and don't use my phone for anything I don't want Google to know about me. I leave anything private for my desktop machine which runs Linux.
 
I'm an iPhone guy, but a windows PC guy also.

I have had four Samsung phones in the past, and when new, worked great. Having a changeable SIM card and battery was extremely useful. I found the phones to be a bit more fragile that Iphones, but certainly more customizable. Android platforms have access to a vast amount of apps, and are sorta more popular with tech savvy folks.

Currently, I prefer Apple phones since they seem to physically survive longer than all my Android phones did, and the OS seems to be more stable and consistent.

Saying that, iPhones seem to be falling behind in innovation, and the phones get nerfed far to quickly.

Sorry my post doesn’t make sense. Miss read your comment. Didn’t realize the phone wasn’t released. Shows how much I really follow tech trends. I guess compare it to the most relatable phone….. a52 if there is such a phone
