Iphone Question

Because you deleted the email accounts off of it? or the password changed? or its no longer set to push?

At any rate try a reset first cause that fixes most email problems on em
 
^^What he said. My e-mail will randomly stop pushing at times and that fixes it.
 
Its like I'm still connected to my email. It just won't show any text. Stupid phone.
 
I had to delete my email account from the device, and then re-enter it to solve the same problem.

Double click your home button. This should show all your open apps along the bottom. Press and hold one of the open apps along the bottom until the little negative sign shows. then touch the negative sign on each app along the
bottom to close all the open apps. press home button again when done and check your mail. should be working.
 
Have you updated your phone to iOS 5? iOS 5 wasn't retrieving e-mail via push so they fixed it in iOS 5.0.1. Is your phone on iOS 5.0.1? If so, does it not retrieve email, or is it showing blank emails? Try deleting your account and re-adding it as someone suggested.
