I have a broken Mini that I got in trade for some computer work, (I knew it was broke and it was a simple comp fix) so it's getting a new screen, new larger drive, and higher cap battery. all for about cheap. so I'm thinking, anyone got a dead mini they don't want? I'll take it off your hands for the shipping:D
point is, I love it because I can make it better instead of buying new! how much better does it get! pics when the parts arrive!

i have two that r screwed up and wanna try and fix em but i have no friggin idea what i am doing...ryan:D

it's actually pretty easy, I think that it was an accident in the designing of how easy it is to take apart and fix them! honestly, every other apple product I've ever taken apart has just been pain, but these are great! between the batteries and drives, its pretty easy to make them better. I have a 800mah battery (stock is about 550) and an 8G drive, which doubles the capacity, but should also give me longer battery life again as it's a solid state drive.

ive got one that could go! i think it still works too...maybe...shoot me an email if you want it...

Thanks for the offer, email sent. once I get my parts in I'll post up a few pics. I'm loving that by total accident apple manufactured a largely rebuild-able device. I love things that I can fix myself, goes with knives, straight razors and electronics. I don't care if this ipod is 12x the size of my current MP3 player (physical dimensions) the fact that I can take it apart is a winner!
Ok, so it seems my current state of not enough work and too much wedding planning is leaving me a bit stir crazy. sorry guys, I'll go calm down now.
