I just bought the new iPod Nano G4 and was wondering if anyone can recommend any protective cases for it.

I know Otterbox makes a good waterproof case for the older models but I don't know of any small waterproof cases the could clip on to a belt or something.

I am not looking for an armband case.

Thanks!

I've got my second gen Nano in a Belkin case. It was one of the only ones that protected the click wheel. It came with a ring and (cheap) carabiner to attach to a belt loop... I never use that feature though.

A few months back we found a few on clearance and I picked up a second one for $5 just to have.

They're tough little cases, but they scratch pretty easily... but whatever, keeps the iPod safe. I remember a friend got a third gen Nano just after release and it took a while for Belkin to make a similar case for it. So I'm guessing that a 4th gen case will be around sometime.

What I like about the case is that unlike some, you can dock it in the case.

The Otterbox case looks nice, and I considered getting one, but it's too bulky considering the point of the Nano is small and thin.

Whatever case you go with, I'd be sure to find one that protects the click wheel.

I've ordered from these guys, H D Acessory, good prices. Customer service sucks:grumpy:. I tried to return a damaged skin but never heard from them. However, all the things that I have ordered from them were fine except that one skin (it was only 2.95). I'd still order from them again.

I just looked at their web site and they do have the 4th generation cases, some of the cases come with clear screen and button protectors.

I have 4 kids that I have iPods, so they definitely save me lots of $$$.
