Anyone out there have one of the new Shuffles that aren't much larger than a tie clip?

I'm curious about the run time on a full charge since the battery that runs the device has got to be tiny!

They last longer than the 1st generation shuffles. I love them. Cant beat it for working out of running. Great sound too... Hell, even on trips, with a good set of headphones, they are even better!!!!:)

...why not just get an ipod? I cant live w/o mine. I have a 60 gig one that is 100% full. I have like 45 gigs of music on it, which comes out to 12,000~ish songs. I can't imagine limiting myself to just a shuffle

There is a minimalist approach with the shuffle that I find appealing--that plus the fact I'd prefer to have something a bit more bomb-proof than the regular iPod. No display=no display to crack or break, etc.

Thanks for the replies, all!

Ditto on the minimalist shuffle. Does it for me. Bang for the buck, smaller, less worried abotu it breaking or getting lost. I'd say about 12-15 hours.

Picked mine up about a month ago. Love it. 12-14hrs of run time depending on if you let it play or keep changing stuff around. 4hrs on the USB to charge it. I've got 11gb of mp3's on my computer, I never toss more than a couple hours on a playlist at home, have 20hrs of playlist on my shuffle if I ever get through it... I just leave it on the shuffle setting and never have to listen to the same playlist twice.... just hit play, adjust volume, and leave it.

If it's not clipped to my shirt pocket with it playing, it's in my vest in the same pocket as my keys, Finish is still looking great with that punishment.

Gotta love not having a display to damage, never mind the fact that you don't even notice it clipped on you.

My daughter and I both have Nanos. My wife is more of a minimalist when it comes to tech toys, so we bought her a new Shuffle. She loves it. The battery seems to outlast the one in my Nano - maybe 12-14 hours or more.
