iPod touch and video?

A while ago, I updated my iPod Touch to the iPhone 3.0 OS(or something like that). I haven't noticed until now, but when I try to watch a video by going to youtube.com in Safari, the video doesn't play. Yes, I know there's a separate Youtube app, but sometimes it's just more convenient for me to search for it in Safari. Any help? I've tried to e-mail Apple, but their site is so frustrating, it just keeps sending me to this page http://www.apple.com/contact/ or http://www.apple.com/support/, with no e-mail for tech support. Although, it might(probably) be fault for not seeing it somewhere. Any help is appreciated though.

Make sure you have the latest OS for the ipod. It should be 3.1.2. You can use iTunes to look for updates when it is connected. You can search for videos in safari and when you click on them it should take you to the Youtube application. This should be transparent to you. If it is a long video it will time out, try hitting the replay option again if you get a message that the file type cannot be played. Hit the back arrow in the upper left corner and then click on the video again. This works for me. Safari will not play flash type files by itself. :(

Try this, go to settings, then safari, make sure plug ins are flipped to on.

When my phone was reset I could not see when people embedded youtubes vids in their threads here... Once I flipped plug-ins on they started to work again. I'm pretty sure this will get you going :)

I don't see that update when I connect my iPod to iTunes. I'm not talking about searching videos in Safari on Google, I'm talking about just typing in youtube.com in the URL, and searching for videos like that. So-Lo's suggestion fixed it for me though.

Thanks, that fixed it. I had no idea that the update would turn plug-ins off :o. Thanks again!
