This big fixed-blade Strider tanto with a 5 1/2-inch blade and an overall length a shade over 12 inches saw two tours of duty in Iraq (not by me). You can see that distinct yellow Iraqi desert dust worked into the webbing of the OD paracord wrap. The blade, while definitely not new, is in excellent shape, with no pitting, almost no scratches, only minor scuffs, and no chips on the blade edge (see attached photos). Striders are built like tanks and this baby is the proof. The blade was lovingly resharpened by me using a Lansky Deluxe Sharpening System with five sharpening hones, from coarse to extra-fine, and she's good and sharp.
