Well, the way I figure this, I know a whole lot of people, and none of them have ever won millions, let alone 77 million pounds. Then again, this lady is probably the only irish woman I can think of aside from a few rockers, which might not be that bad either. So statistically, from the sample available to me, it seems pretty obvious that it would pay to be an irish woman. And if the millions wouldn't work out, I still might score some free beers at the bar. So it's a no-lose situation.

Yeah. The population of the Irish Republic is around 4 million, say 1.5 million adult women. Jackpot £77 million, so, on average, each Irish woman won about £50. Not to be sniffed at.(?)
