My fince Jilly and I have been together for 7 years now and due to the fact that we have just bought a house my khuk fund has been dry for awhile.

I tried the approach of poorest country and all the other tactics that my beloved BF friends advised and she said she would get me a khuk for our anniversary. She will never buy me khuk's as gifts so I must have done something right

Now I don't know wether to get a 15 inch Siru or a 12 inch AK and a JKM 1(budget is 100 dollars with shipping)- please advise chaps !

:)

you could have a JKM-1 and a Kumar karda, or perhaps a dozen kagas katnes, .. unless the price limit includes shipping.

Brendan...

I "chatted" with my wife about the deal I cashed in on...she said

"I'm going to have to have a talk with this Uncle Bill character."

I wrote:

"himimp@aol.com"

She replied:

"Him imp - that's right!"

:D

Sorry, Bill. Wife doesn't appreciate the finer parts of khuk-dom. :footinmou

Oh yeah, supposed to be helping Brendan...

Forget the Siru or AK,

Ask for a Pen Knife!!!

;)

Heehehe funny, Pen. My wife would be like that, except I just scored my first paycheck in 5-6 months.

I've got a deal worked out with me wife such that if I get a blade, she gets a pair of shoes. She's gonna put Mrs. Marcos to shame, and I can arm a small to medium-sized warband!

even though, you've shrunk, Bill, at 5'-10" you're no Imp in my book...:D

Brendan, I just received a 15" Siru the other day. It is great for "smaller" projects and as a weapon, but the 12" AK will probably do more in the chopping area. I may be wrong as I don't have a 12" AK yet. It's on my Father's Day list. Hope I'm not blowing smoke with only one half of a comparison. I know what will happen; you buy one and then down the road you will end up buying the other. Always happens that way with me. :D

Brendan,

The JKM-1 is a joy to hold. It feels remarkably solid for such a small knife. Short handle, lots of blade.

Btice:

Your call between the 15" Siru and 12" AK is going to be a tough one. I don't have a Siru, but got a 12" AK last week and have already got alot of work done with it. Part of the decision may depend on your inclinations. If this is going to be an anti-personnel knife, the extra 3" will be nice. For other useful tasks, 3" less will ride the belt better.

Brendan,
The 12"AK is a wonderful worker and maybe you could throw in the Kumar Karda for her as well. She'll love you for it.

I deffinetly want the JKM 1 : so it's either the 15inch Siru, 12inch AK or Pen Knife (which I didn't even think about)

I'm leaning toward the pen knife as it is different but that's if Uncle has any in stock

I want a general utility khuk - I have many big ones for chopping and a GS as a combet khuk, I have a BAS and really like it !!

WHO KNOWSS

Uncle will tell me - he chooses most of my khuks and I'm always happy

Out of luck - Pen knife sold out so it's a toss up between 12inch AK and 15inch Sirupati !!

I put in my order for a JKM, and I think he's only got one other. As if you weren't having a tough enough time deciding:p ;) :D
