A good customer wanted a camp knife that he could use and abuse - and look good doing it.
It will see some batoning, as well, so she's a little thick.
About .280" at the guard, and for most of the spine to the false edge.
I had acquired a large supply of a special run of 1" square 5160 made in 1984, so he requested that for the steel, knowing its capabilities from knives he already has.
She's 11 1/2" long.
Blackwood handle with "bull's eye" pins and washers.
(Comfortable as all get-out!)
