Well this is one I have been working on for the past few weeks for a fourm member.
Forged 5160 1/4" thick a bit over 8" long
The handle is Desert Ironwood and is about 5 1/4"
The guard and ferrule are 416 SS with a copper spacer polished a bit on the buffing wheel.
The pin and tubing in the handle are also 416 SS in 1/4" size.

Superlative, beautiful, great job of fit and finish. A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+

That is as close to perfect as you can get IMHO. Beauty.

Hey Rusty, What did you do to get the satin finish on the blade? Man she's a beaut! -Phil

Phil I finish the blade to 600 Grit then go over it a few times with 1200 Grit dry, not enough to polish but just enough to knock the high spots of the 600 down and this is what you get.
Thanks all for taking time too look and the kind words.

Thanks for looking and all of the kind words.

Next one will have a bit of a recurve and maybe a stag handle with a S shaped guard tiped with scalloped ends
