Yep, I'm not sure how it happened but, in all this time this is the first knife I've made with Desert Ironwood. OK now I'm hooked. This stuff is beautiful!

This Bola knife is made from multi-edge quenched 5160 steel. The knife is 12 3/4" over all with an 8" satin finished blade. The double guard and pins are stainless steel with a black spacer between guard and the handle. The handle itself is presentation grade Desert Ironwood. The knife also comes with a tooled pouch sheath by Tess.

Friggin' awesome! The blade screams to be used, the handle screams not to

Could you do me a favor and drop me a line with the price? Sure is sweet!

Can't say I remember your 'old' Bola, but this one has style! Love the curve on the recurve - the way it blends into the ricasso.

5160 is a nice choice to for a big chopper like that. 2 tang pins too!

So what do you call it - a work horse that belongs in a showcase?
