Ironwood Bowie

This is an Ironwood Bowie with a long clip.
9 1/2" blade forged from large stock 5160 and selectively hardened.
Hot-blued steel take-down fittings, with polished flutes and facets, mated to a really clean piece of Desert ironwood.
15 inches overall length.

Very, very nice looking bowie. Love the long clip and that ironwood handle is something else! :thumbup:

Karl, that IS an incredible knife!! I REALLY like the blued parts. I LOVE everything about that knife!!

Great tutorial. I do almost all the same procedures just don't make them take-downs. I will have to make a couple just to play a bit...Sweet knife though.
