Every now and then I get around to using stuff I've had a long time!
Here's some of my traditional 1" square 5160 forged into a slightly upswept hunter.
Wrought iron fittings - deeply etched!
Some ironwood from Brent Scherman. (Thanks, Scherm)
Mild steel finial and full take-down configuration.

Very very nice, I really like the contrasting colors of the shiny, the dull, the medium wood and the dull cap. Really a great combination! Steven

Your work is exceptional. Eventually, I will buy one. At this point in my life, though, I prefer to spend a little less and get a few more. One day...

Karl,
Very nice hunter.Really dig that handle shape and the upswept tip.The figure in the Ironwood and the fittings are A1.
What is its size,if you would be so kind.

Doug:)

Overall it's 10 inches, not including the take-down finial.
1/2 handle and 1/2 blade!
(I never measure them until someone asks!)
