Ironwood N Damascus Bowie...Just out of the shop

Ironwood and Damascus Bowie.
9 7/8" Blade, tip to guard, 14 3/4" OAL 3/16" thick Damascus from our very own "Bruce Evans", Ironwood handle, 416 SS fittings polished on the edges and Satin on the flats.
Sheath is made from 8-9oz Hand stitched leather, smooth inside sheath to protect blade.

I realize that I haven't seen 'em all...but...that has to be the prettiest bowie to come out of your shop!

BTW, there is a guy that looks just like you in that magazine. I think he copied your knife too ;)
 
I have to agree. That is the nicest knife I have seen by you, Robert. It seems every knife you make is better than the last.
 
I run hot and cold for damascus, but that is definitely HOT !

By the way, do you heat treat the blades yourself? Just curious...

Yes the HT was done inhouse. Whoever winds up with this blade will see the Temper Line upon close inspection. Too faint for a pic but definetly there!
