Ironwood question

Hey all
I just turned on to a buddy who has a few tons of seasoned Desert Ironwood. Its for the most part log chunks and stuff. Any ideas on what the raw material should go for?

Last time I bought raw ironwood it was between $1-2/lb. There's a lot of waste in cutting it into usable stock.

I did that. Got 2 really nice blocks out of 4 logs. Most of the rest was plain grain or no grain. I threw away probably 60% and had to weed out the rest. I gave up on buying logs since it is soo work intensive and high waste.
