Does anyone here know someone who can make and install Ironwood sides on a Buck 112 Slim Pro? Any help would be appreciated...

Leroy Remer.
If I had the ironwood I wanted on a knife, I would pursue that route.

Otherwise I'd just order one from the custom shop. That's not really a bad deal when you factor in the value of the knife it's made around.

Can this be ordered straight from the Buck custom shop? I don't have the Ironwood, it would have to be supplied by the person doing the work. I guess I could order the wood though, but if the Buck Custom shop could/would do it...

Go to Buck's website. Build a Custom knife banner right at the top. You have all sorts of choices.

If you want a knife done you already have, I'd contact Leroy.
Tho I'm sure there are others....

The custom shop offers a 112 with Ironwood, brass or nickel silver bolsters, pins or no pins, and I think an S30V option if you want.
If you take out the price of a regular 112, you probably would be right at or way under what you would pay someone to do the work and materials.

So far this is the only 'Custom' 112 Slim I have seen..Not a Slim Pro it was done last year in Buffalo horn and dropped on Ebay by the Maker who did it for himself then sold it. If I can reach back far enough to get his name and contact info I will let you know. He put brass plates on to mount the Buffalo horn and I like the heft to it.20200501_003700.jpg 20200501_004321.jpg

Sorry Steve.
"slim"
Obviously reading comprehension was lacking on my part also.

That would be cool.

The slims are not in the custom shop. The only slims that I’ve seen different than the catalog offerings were SFOs through C&C and it seems I saw another one or two but can’t recall where.
You would probably have to go with a out of factory custom knife maker for ironwood slabs and maybe some metal liners for attachment. I’m not sure if unstablized wood by itself would have the strength in the pivot area that micarta,g10 or other stabilized materials would have.
