Ironwood Sticks

How does everyone feel about ironwood (kamagong) sticks. I am considering getting a pair for training. I feel the increased weight will help develop wrist strength. Any opinions?
 
I have some kamagong sticks I like to practice with because of the extra weight. Good for the wrists, forearms and shoulders. Next step is to use some lead pipes. One suggestion, go slow, especially at first.
 
I've got a iron wood 5.5 ft staff I used to work out with a rr tamping iron (about 5.5 foot around 50-75 lbs.) the iron wood seemed very ligfht and fast after that.
 
Thanks guys. Thats what I was going for. Train with the heavier weight, and the rattan sticks feel lighter and be quicker. It makes sense, logically, I just wasnt sure if it works in practical application. Im just afraid of over developing slow twitch muscle and in the process, becoming tighter and slower.
