hello. this take down tanto has a 7 3/4" 1075 blade with a fuller and hamon. 2000 grit hand pulled finish. the handle is ironwood, with 2 nickel pins through the pommel. the center was mortised out to accept the blade. the fuchi (collar) is nickel and copper, hard soldered with silver. nickel guard. the kanji translates to april. a bamboo peg holds it all together. the sheath is folded metal, lined with ultrasuede and covered with leather. the wrap is fixed to the sheath with ca glue. thank you for viewing my work and have a great week !

For the most part, I don't typically care for Japanese themed blades. My mind just can't seem to disassociate the whole Mall ninja thing when I see them. But I have to say, I really, really dig your take on it man. That blade just oozes class. Nice job!
