Got my war club today gonna need a little more work than I thought but I like it.

Wow ... that is VERY cool. Who's making that?

Looks like I have a little carving and sanding ahead of me but I see a face there. Anyone wants to know were to get one Pm or Email me let you know poor guy I warned him I was going to post pics. It was advertised as a wolverine war club but it labeled as a Water Panther so looks like it going to get a panthers eyes and nose if I can pull it off.

Legion ... Glad to see you found what you'd been searching for. If you need some wood-working inspiration for the finishing project, look up Dick Proenneke and see what he was capable of doing with wood.

Got about 3 hours was able to squeeze in so far wood rasp and sandpaper no power tools for this one some hard stuff but gorgeous wood I'm getting there still on 100 grit paper the only thing I wish I had was a portable vise . Been banished outside for this project pics up Tuesday should have it ready to finish by then.

Got a lot done but not ready for a finish yet handle and ball is rough sanded working on the head next have to decide on the mouth and teeth could paint them on or what I was thinking inlay the eyes carve and paint the teeth.

Great update - My wife says it looks like a Femur bone! All I know is, takes a lot of patience!!

Your wife is right it does. Patience is right was going to try and finish this right away but I have to be careful don't want to remove anything that I shouldn't when the guy who sells these says 95% finished I guess that depends on how far you want to go with it the handle and ball are pretty straight forward but when you get to the head gets a little tricky. Almost wish I would of gotten one with just a ball for the first one but I am just going to take my time just want to get all the rough work done then I can do the fine work and the fun part the finish .
