Irvine Balisong Laws?

Ok so heres the deal. I intend to go to pakistan for some personal business,but I also want to buy some balisongs for some friends and maybe some for me. But I wanna know what the laws are for Irvine California and balisongs. I dont intend on taking any of them outside at anytime I only really want to maybe flip em around or maybe just like hand em on the wall i dunno. I would also like to know if i would have to declare the knives to tsa when im returning to the usa.Thanks
 
Bringing a balisong into the US is a big NO NO. Flat out against the law, really.

In California it is legal to own in your home, a balisong. Bring the knife outside of your home and you've committed a misdemeanor. That's the way I understand the laws.

I don't know if you need to declare knives in your checked luggage. Regardless, a balisong, if found will be confiscated.
