Is $250.00 a reasonable price for a NIB war Dog

There is a NIB War Dog with a tan handle at my local knife shop for $250.00. Is that a little pricey for the discontinued War Dog, or should I buy it? Will it go up in value in the next couple years if I don't use it?

There's been some on the exchange for $225. But it's available on SYKCO's website for $179.95 right now.

Is it a HACK Ward Dog or just a War Dog?

And yes, no one knows how much, but the price will appreciate; but then you won't know the power of INFI :D

It's the original war dog... and the listing on Scrapyard's website was a mistake... I tried to order one yesterday, but they refunded my money and told me that they accidently relisted the knife! :(

With shipping the War Dog cost about $195.

I am not a fan of Res-C handles, but this one seems to fit my hand perfectly. I'm glad I got it.

Buy a BOSS Jack from Busse Combat direct for $268 + shipping while you still can.

Will be a much more versatile knife and you know youre not getting ripped off...

It's too recent and plentiful to have appreciated that much in my opinion. The norm is about a 20% appreciation for Busses soon after they're pulled (or a 25% depreciation in the case of the Sus Scrofa :foot:). If they're more rare than usual (like the NMFBM for example) an immediate appreciation of 30% is reasonable IMO. So even with a 30% appreciation it would be worth no more than $233.94 to me. The BOSS Jack recommendation by TrailWolf is an excellent one and the Basic 4 (same handle and INFI like the War Dog) is coming too. :)

How much will the basic 4 cost? any idea... and do you know where I can find pics of it and it's release date?

We don't know the cost yet but somewhere in the $200 range seems to be a reasonable guess. We don't know the release date either but there were pics of it from Blade.

Far right knife. Deeper blade with lots of belly.

Well, if you want it I say get it. It is local, or get one off the exchange. There will be no more. To me there is so much difference between the proposed Basic 4 posted above and the War Dog. I got a tan and a black War Dog and am glad I did. The Res-C handle is comfortable, it is thick Infi, and the design is different from my other Yard blades.

the war dog is super limited edition. and iv never seen a bussekin knife that went down in price. (ppl usually keep ones they use bc they like them so much i guess haha)

I wish i had gotten a war dog. it just looks sooo good
