Is a buck 110 boone and crocket good?

I was going to buy a new 2017 boone and crocket buck dor $60 bucks…but
then I read they are not popular with buck collectors. I wonder why. Its has diamond wood scales.
A new buck 110 should be worth $60 bucks.

its a 110 so can't be bad per say. other than Walmart 35 buck one, most dealers seem to be in the just under 60 range for a standard 110....so if it's worth it to you, it is. if your plan is to flip and make money it might not gain in value like you'd want it to......

Well theres really no such thing as a bad Buck 110, but doesn't seem to be anything too special about this one.

I would guess that these aren't very popular because it's basically just a regular 4 year old 110 but with a blade etch, they haven't earned any collector value yet.

A 110? eh, not so much.

However I feel the other Boone and Crocket knives are nice.
I have many of the others, but I have never thought much of the looks of the 110.

There are several different B&C 110's. If it is the one with the black blade etch I believe they were sold thru Dick's. I think there are 4 different etches but the knife is just a plain standard 110. Unless you specifically want the etched blade, save money and go to WM. As for other collectors, there is sentiment among some against Billboard blades.

In addition to what Roger said above, the B&C Buck knives were not all issued the same. Over the years there were some very nice limited edition knives made and some standard knives made. Some with just blade tattoos, some with added escutcheons in the handle matreial, some sold in tins, some sold in wood display cases, some with verying handle materials.

Boone & Crockett Buck 110 - Discontinued?

Wondering if anyone had any information on the Boone & Crockett Buck 110 knife and tin that Dick's Sporting goods have had the past years. I've gotten one every year, usually around Christmas of the preceding edition year. Was the 2017 edition the last year for these? Dick's does not have 2018...
