Is a "crossdraw" a bad idea on my new kephart?

I just got a slew of knives in that I ordered from KSF (great place) and one of them is a BRKT Kephart with the Bushcraft A sheath and I have a question regarding my belt location for it. I have a concealed carry permit and always have my sidearm on my boot or my hip depending on the season and when it is on my hip it is on the right side thus interfering with the designed right hand right side carry of the sheath. I have been wearing it all day on my left side and grabbing it in a crossdraw motion with my right hand, so my question to you is if this is a bad habit? Should I only keep it on my right; and if the left is ok should I get in the habit of pulling it with my left or right hand?

P.S. It feels great in the hand and has wonderful balance from what I can tell. Another knife from the group that impressed us is my wife's Gunny. They got something going over there at BRKT. I cannot wait to compare it in the field to my Fiddleback Forge that I have on order, (really, really looking forward to this one).

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with cross draw. I do like to have something else on my carry hip just in case the wind catches my shirt or something. I either carry my knife/sheath or cell phone in front of my carry gun just to help conceal it.
