if i get a jaguar just to mess around with, will it break just from practicing the begginer stuff that you see on www.balisongextreme.com ? i heard they break easily, but will it last long enough to do the basics? also wheres a good site to order a Jaguar knife?

thanks

Yeah, Jags are great for a beginner, the weight of the handles helps build strength in the fingers and it helps you get to know your balisong better when the pins break. The pins are just made of hollow brass so when you manipulate them they heat up and start to distort and will eventually break, they are easily fixed using finishing nails, the information is also found on www.balisongxtreme.com If you get one get one with slotted handles, the Jags with inserts are weaker. www.knifezilla.com www.balisongknife.com www.1sks.com (under dragon forge) are a few of the sites.

Yeah i think the jags are good for beginners because they are decently built for only $15... They're heavy so it strenghtens your fingers. If you move on to a BM42 you will be lightening quick. If you decide balisongs aint your thing, you only lost $15.-
