Is all paracord created equal?

So is all the Cord we call "para" around here of more or less the same quality?

Not all para cord is created equal. The number of inner strands varies. The good stuff has seven inner strands.

The fanciest I've found is Kelty TripTease cord. It has a Spectra core (bulletproof vest material, very strong for it's size) and the sheath has reflective material woven into it.

There is a lot of crap cord out now. You do want the seven strand nylon wrapped, but not all of that is created equal. I know this by having bought it and done test pulls. Also, quality pararcord is shockingly abrasion resistant--the fake stuff is not.
