Is any familiar with knifemaker Shaka (I have a Khuk.)

I won a Khuk off of eBay a while ago, and the name of the maker, which is printed, is Shaka, it has 2 Chakmas, and is clearly machined. But it looks like some effort was made into make sure they weren't selling junk. It's nicely pinned, and fitting seem fair well finished. Does anyone have any idea about the quality of this Khuk. I think the maker is supposed to have been African, but I'm not 100% sure. Also the scabbard is pretty decend, but there is no metal tip. Either way, if anyone has any info, please post it here, or, if you have to, email me.

None, I'm afraid,
one thing that is interesting is that it is full tang,
and the bosters and wood on the handle is dovetailed.
I actually found the this site:

that has Shaka listed as one of the knifemakers,
but they have no knives and no info listed.

Sounds like a lot of work went into its production then, But its impossible for me to realy give true comment on something I cant see..

Was the ebay auction more than 3 months ago? if not its photo might still exist?

Either way it certainly sounds an interesting beast!

Sounds like a nice piece, maybe ask in some of the other blade forum areas like customs. And make sure you update us if you find out!
