Is anybody Going to the Shot Show In New Orleans

I would like to know any of the BF members will be in New Orleans for the Shot Show Jan 11 through Jan 14. I will be there for 3 days. If so I would like to know who is going . Hoping to run into some of the Members.

Roger,

This show is not a consumer show. It is meant for firearms dealers (FFL) and similar parties that are engaged in the resale of sporting goods or, distributors and companies such as firearm manufacturers, clothing manufacturers, etc.

At this point I think the price of entry into the show is $100. Since there is very little to actually carry out, unless you are seriously engaged in the business, your money and time may be better spent shopping an internet site for a new knife or for the latest news on product updates on this forum and others.

SHOT SHOW 2001
 
SOG will be there. Look for Spencer (President), Scott (VP Sales), Vicky (Marketing Director), and I think Drake ("The Drakeman"...a pure knife knut!).

ALL our new toys for 2001 will be with them.

I will be at the Shot Show from the 10th to the 14th. I'll see you there! Stop by the Krause Publications booths if you have a chance and meet the gang from KP. I'll be stopping in there off and on, but my time is mostly spent walking the show.

Dick Person will be there doing sharpening demonstrations for DMT and he'll be using Grohmann's for examples,(Grohmann Knives will be there as well of course sporting a few new things like scrimshaw and water buffalo handled knives I believe)

Not sure if anyone has met Dick yet, he has been a wilderness guide and survivalist for over 40 yrs, lives in a teepee, etc. one amazing man, worth stopping and chatting.
