My father always had a thing for sterling silver. I can remember him polishing his sterlig silver accented knives and watch/wedding ring. My mother was a collector of white gold. ALL of her jewelry was white gold, No matter how nice a piece was that she saw, if she couldn't get it in W.G. she wouldn't get it.
For me it's TITANIUM!! I love this stuff. I own as much of it as I can afford. My wedding ring,Sebenza,Cross pentand and chain necklace, watch, the pen I carry every day. I have a JSP titanium straw and my Apple Powerbook has a Titanium case. I don't know why but Ti just apeals to me. Anyone else have this addiction?

"I have a JSP titanium straw...."

Please tell me more about this titanium straw. Where can I get one? How much $? Can you provide a link?

Thanks.

I got mine from a company called www.tadgear.com they sell all types of cool ****. Good prices to.

One end of the straw is sharpened on the inside to aid in penetration. Its a great little toy and conversation starter. I can't remember what I paid for mine but they make lots of neat ****, Ti straws/pencils/stylus,chopsticks. Credit card knives. All very good quality as well.

Hope this helped

For handle materials, titanium, carbon fiber, micarta. For steel, D-2 and a few others that do not come to mind right now.

A steel blade that doesn't rust easily, that sharpens easily and that doesn't break easily works for me.:D Handles must be nice-looking and not slippery. I prefer synthetic materials for handles for durabilty, but wood looks nicer:D

I like to keep things simple......
