Is anyone else having problems?

This has happened before and I have been unable to determine what the problem is. The past couple of night, starting around 7:00pm I am unable to get to most areas of BladeForums. A connection is made, but no page will load. This is on my home computer and my work computer. As I said, this has happened before.
 
Yup. Started about an hour ago. Load times on some elements is as low as 3 bytes per second, per Netscrape 4.76. And a lot of long pauses.

Calling Dr. Spark? Yon UBB needs a defibrillator hit?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was beginning to think I wasn't welcome.

It's working fine now. I'm on cable modem as well. The last time it happened, I was on dial up.

The last 2 nights I haven't been able to get into the buy/sale forum until approx. 3:00 am.This happens about every three months to me and lasts about four nights.

I just figured someone was tinkering under the hood and went away for awhile.
 
I work all night, and am on here all night. Yes, I seem to have more issues at night than during the day...

Now, i have lots of problems...what kind are you looking for? heehee

I'm not using a cable modem, but nevertheless having the same problem.

Could be a bandwidth problem. Could be someone on the server-side of BFC out on their internet connection doing some, er, ahem, research? Not of the pornographic kind of course. Probably just movies of knifemakers in action...

Have had the same problems the last two evenings. Worse Wednesday nite than last nite for me.

Whether software or hardware, seems like the forum server(s) simply can't pull the freight. Is it upgrade time? I mean, tho I know I suffer from slow phone lines, it is weird when I sit here with a Pentium 3, 256 MB of RAM, and remember the "good old days" of a 486 and 8 MB of RAM.

I thought it was just me. I have no problems during the day, just late at night. It was so slow that I was going to give up. I figured that I would have to start talking to my girlfriend instead of trying to read all of the posts here
