Is anyone making custom micarta handles for the full-sized Beckers?

I've been poking around to see if I can find someone who's making micarta handles for full-sized Becker knives. I'd like to see something in OD Green canvas or black / green canvas as an option, but have yet to find anyone doing that. I guess if I don't, it's time to try my own hand at fashioning some custom scales.

I make lamination slabs that you can then make your own handle scales from, here is a pic to the cutoffs from the slabs I have done... You can also contact bladeforums member Fod about his laminations he makes

Yeah, here's the deal. I make my scales almost 100% at work. Retail, you know between customers. I feel like I'm at the point where I know enough about making these for sale, fit and finish wise. I don't own the tooling though so there are a couple problems 1) being able to deliver a quality product in a timely manner because of my reliance on someone else's drill presses and sanders. I'd be open to buying them, but I absolutely won't buy chinese anything. So that makes them more expensive. 2) I am not to the point were Someone can ask me to make them up a batch of micarta in any certain color, they change color when you add the resin into it. I see several ways around this however.


As to me being ghey, it's true, I like men.

Nope, that would not be me. I don't do things like that. I just like stirring the pot, and that, me thinks would cause it to boil over, and that would ruin the soup.:D

Plus, that material wouldn't make good micarta anyways, too thin. Unless you wear those burlap hipsters that are becoming all the new rage. :D

Cap, it doesn't matter if it would make terrible handles or not.
Then they could say that they had gotten their grubby little hands on your panties ..lol.
