I beleive it was sprint run of 500 in 1997. I would consider this quite rare

Think there were more than that, probably 1200 since it's generally the minimum size for a production run on models made in Japan. I tend to reserve "rare" for things made in really small quantities, but the CF Ladybug is certainly not common. Then too, there's probably been more attrition on them than on the larger members of the CF Series. Key chain knives tend to be forgotten about and seized a TSA and other security checkpoints more often than other knives.
