Is bead-blasted 8cr13mov more susceptible to rust?

I have about 6 Kershaw 8cr13mov knives however, my bead blasted blades have
some small spots and only my bead blasted blades. I even have a Spyderco Tenacious
and Resilient both are 8cr13mov and have no issues. I am kind of thinking it may be the
blade treatment.

Anyone else ever have issues with bead-blasted 8cr13mov?

I am not putting down 8cr13mov, I really like my other knives that are 8cr13mov. I am just
wondering if bead-blasting makes some steels vulnerable?

I love the bead blast look but it can be a pain for rust spots. I just keep a light coating of oil on my blades that have it and dont really have any issues. What rust spots I did see I managed to get most off with the oil and a scour pad and a little time. I'm not sure how this would work with heavy rusting though. Mine just had some light spotting.

Stone wash and mirror polish are the best for rust resistance; bead blast is the worst.
