I've tried e-mailing him a couple of times lately with no response. I'm hoping he's just so busy with orders that he's not able to get to his computer:)

Bruce and the family are fine. He called me on Monday. He is working alot of hours in his Mother's Junk Yard he is the Foreman. About time he got a real job.:D :D :D

I had got a call from Bruce Saturday. Along with working long hours for his mother he's also playing and getting used to some new tools he's been able to get now that he's got a steady flow of some money comming in. He's sure not cranking out the knives like he used to but I'm sure when the next one is done its going to blow us all away.....

he posted the other day too
I know this dang computer takes a lot of time away
from making knives too and other things .

I really should move it into the house I'd get more done or
be in there watching soaps:eek:

he's doing what has to be done I'm sure,
he's got those little
sweet hearts to fend for, all three of them...
Job:confused: IG, cut it out...;)

Yeah Hes good. He just finished up putting his mini-mill together and ordered a new small metal lathe. He is tooling up to make his MS knives. I get to give him the performance test next year at Blade!

His Mother gave him more hours and a Foreman title.

Yep I am still alive and kicking everybody.Just been worn out lately.Mom and my step Dad decided to clean all the steel off the property except stuff that people want to buy all the time like big steel plates and beams, plus car and truck parts. The guys buying all of it have a crew in that has machines 4 times as big as ours and they have 2 of them running were we only have one.I am on a constant run trying to make sure they don't get things they shouldn't along with keeping up with truck numbers. So far it has been 88 semi truck loads of steel out and they are only about half way done.We have been working 6 days aweek and either 10 or 12 hour days.I usually fall asleep within a couple of hours of getting home but I do find time in the shop.As Ray said I have gotten some new toys to get set up and have been being coached on how to use them by a knifemaking friend that has been a machinest for 25 years.Boy is there allot to learn.
I am figuring another 3 - 4 weeks of this and things will settle down and I will be pulling normal 40 hour weeks again, then the shop will be getting hit full tilt.Boy I can't wait either,I miss the shop, but Mom needed the help and so I guess it is her turn this year,at least I am getting paid this time and am at home not 3000 miles away from the ladies...
I do check out the forums as often as i can but usually don't have the time to post,I will try and do better, but give me a few weeks to get everything back to normal.

I will be back on here soon:D
