There were a few Busse's that were cerakoted at the blade so I was wondering if it's something that Busse is going to start implementing on their knives.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
I myself wouldn't mind seeing it, even if it was an option. Seem's to look pretty cool and not as thick and rough ?
They could leave the coating off and I'd be overjoyed. I know "some" would complain about the machine marks on the blade but most of us, that actually use our knives, would love to have the uncoated blade.
I fall squarely in the less than impressed with this category, makes me feel a bit less sad about not making Blade this year. Seems the focus was doing cerakote artwork on older models rather than bringing new designs to the table. Knives have been left uncoated (even unfinished) for centuries without them rusting into oblivion with far less advanced steels than today and I would love to see this trend die ASAP.
Were there even any Comp Finish offerings at Blade this time around?
