Is Chris Reeve Knives still making or producing the walking canes???

Hello, Just wondered if CRK in Idaho is making these fine walking canes still.?? They are high quality and worth ordering if they are still making them. Check out the web site and have a look at the canes. They are great and they are made to order out of several different types of woods that are avalible for a nominal cost.

Do any of you folks curently own one??? Using it all the time?? Be interested to hear how they hold up.

from what I understand, the heads on those things are reject ti hip joints from the medical profession...he bought a bunch cheap, used them all, and that was the end of it.

Tom, I talked to Chris Reeves at the 2001 Blade show concerning them. He told me that he still had some of the titanium ball joints and ferrules available and that he was wanting to continue to produce some more but he did not have someone available to do the woodwork on them.

He said that he hoped to get these going soon. Just Monday I e-mailed Bridgett asking for a update and she replied that they are still on hold and have not been able to produce any new ones.
