I know a lot of stuff is not what it used to be. I know I have to lower my expectations. I know stuff is crappier and it costs more and that's really why this is not so off topic being in The RAT Nest because a RAT knife is something to admire because it's a rock solid piece of gear that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and a guarantee that you cannot beat...just my opinion.
I know this might seem like a minor bitch...but I have done something on and off for years and perhaps you have as well. Leave a soda in the car in the summertime. What in the F*CK is going on with companies? This is apparently a bad habit now that I have to break myself from. In the last month three new 20 oz. bottles of soda have leaked half of their contents onto the seat.
The first time, I thought perhaps my son didn't tighten the cap on a soda. A few days later I boughts me a new soda and didn't open it. It was out in the car for a few hours and vomited on the seat. I was like, "WTF is this?"
I have lived in this area all of my life, the summers are just as hot as they always were, it's not "hotter" here and I don't know about some of you that live in Tejas, New Messico or Arizona where it just gets SCALDING hot, but this has NEVER happened to me in all these years. Today, happened again. The last two sodas I am 100% sure they were never opened, the plastic seal was still intact.
We used to leave sodas in the floor of the back seat or on the seat itself, just a warning - don't do it.
Strange...
