Well, thats it, i have a sale pending a firearm i don't really use and guess what?

I'm going to expand the knife collection!

With guess what?

A CRK Large Sebenza 21, the plain jane one.

For me it's a grail knife. For many, its not. I know y'all are a little on the crazy side, but just a couple years ago I couldn't fathom why some one would drop $75 on a knife. Now I'm about to drop $465 on one. It's a bit much to take in. Maybe I'll develop a taste for a real crazy grail knife, but for now........

I love the quality that goes into my existing knives and I'm excited to see one of these bad boys.
 
Also if someone could shed some light on the difference between the normal blade and the insingo blade, it would be appreciated.
 
The blade shape is a preference issue… I think for a first, the normal shape is great, but I do use and own an Insingo , and they both cut nicely….. I've never really prefered one over the other. Both are a great choice! Bart
 
Are you after a large or small. I hope you enjoy your journey into CRK knives, be warned though they are addictive!

i was more interested in the small's price but I'd much rather a larger blade than my similar mini grip has. For this kind of money, you want to get it right.


looking at a fallkniven frej nl4 as well.

Once you have made your choice it will be the right choice.....you can really not make a bad choice with a CRK. Looking forward to pictures.
 
May I offer you some advice? Buy one from somebody here, off the exchane, and save yourself about a hundred bucks! You can find large Sebenza 21's all the time on here for around 350.
Unless you're just dead set on buying one brand new. Most folks who own one and sell it, don't use it very much. So odds are you'll find one very well taken care of. And you can always send it back to CRK, and they will send it back to you in brand new condition. Especially a plain one.. That's my 2 cents anyway..
 
Okay I committed to buy a CRK large Sebenza 25, not the 21. A quick read tells me I will be just fine.

Very excited for this knife, shipped for $465.....holy crap.....man this thing will be sweet
 
Lonny, i had emailed a user about a large 21 up for grabs the other day. I just want the first one to be perfect. I'm spending enough either way and as my first real high dollar knife I like to start off new. As i build familiarity I will likely take advantage of the savings in the sales sections.

I find the anticipation while waiting for the knife to be very fun, just make sure that the mail carrier doesn't file a restraining order against you ;)
 
Hey, you will NOT be disappointed in that 25, I promise you. It's the only CRK I have right now, and I carry it with me everywhere I go. And I'm not afraid to use it, either. This is actually my second one. My first I had to sell (needed the money more than the knife at the time). I ended buying an XM-18 3.5 Spanto, and the next day decided I wanted to trade it for another 25, which I have now. In my opinion, I'm done spending money on blades for awhile. This 25 is just perfect. NO equal. You made the right decision to get this rather than the 21. That's only MY opinion, but there are many others here who share it! Both are top quality.

Lonny, I selected it by accident and before canceling, I figured I'd look it up. I'm okay with my "mistake"

I also ordered a fallkniven nl4 frej which should be in tomorrow.
